I had taken my car over the last year to a number of highly recommended auto repair services to fix a problem that appeared to be the transmission - but wasn't. The owner here was the only one who found the problem quickly - a bad power steering pump - and repaired it for a reasonable price. My car is back in service!
This establishment treated us so good! We were on our way out of town and had to turn back from TO. We were calling around to a few places to get our car fixed, no one answered their phones.....mind you it was nearing 7pm already. Oxnard Car Repair, they answered their phone at 6:20pm and told us to go and they would take a look. We were nervous about what the problem could be and the cost for it, but this place was really thorough and found what the issue was. Thank God, it was nothing major, and the owner and his wife were very kind and accommodating, very honest auto repair shop! Those are RARE! So they not only told us to come in, even though it was late (close to closing) they fixed the problem and didn't overcharge (take advantage). So I HIGHLY recommend Oxnard Car Repair to anyone looking for a good, honest, and thorough mechanic.
I was recommended to Oxnard Car Repair by AAA when my truck broke down and had to be towed. I had just moved to the area and didn't have a trusted mechanic yet - now I do. Trujillo had my alternator replaced that same day, and he pointed out some other issues that needed to be addressed. I went back again months later for those issues and some others, and once again he had my truck back to me ahead of schedule. He also went above and beyond by fixing some things I hadn't asked for - at no extra cost. I highly recommend these guys, they are professional, courteous, affordable, and fast.
